For those in clementi and need some opinion on Pei Tong…I can share my observation since I live at the block just behind the school.

        1) the school is very international - with a good mix of different nationality. Possibly because its one of those schools that still has suplus vacancy after Ph 2©. Good exposure for the kids.
        2) The school building is brand new! My niece attended that school and so I got to visit before.
        3) Location is good. Its within 5 min’s walk to the MRT. And no need to cross the road somemore.
        4) Think the teachers are ok there. My niece loved her form teacher in Pri 2.
        5) Although not known for its academic achievement, my friend’s son is in the school and he won the maths olympiads Gold award this year. This is a national event. So dunno if its the school or the parents’ credit. haha

Hope this helps you in anyway.

                Hi dingdongrc,

Thanks for providing feedback on Pei Tong.It certainly gives reassurance to us parents as I am one of the 54 parents who were balloted out of Nan Hua and i think many of them will be going for the next school - Qifa and may put Pei Tong as the last choice as some may think that historically it always has surplus and will act as a \"last choice \" . My reason for also going for Qifa is because it is only 50 metre from my home. For Pei Tong i will have to arrange for transport and hence i am hesistant to immediately choose Pei Tong at the P2Csupp. I know for sure that Qifa will require ballot as it has only 14 places left and I am praying that hopefully there will not be ballot within 1km but i really really doubt so. For my case there is really no point for me to go for Pei Tong now as if i don't get into Qifa, MOE should allocate the next nearest school to me which has vacancy so i think i will still get Pei Tong if i don't get into Qifa.
Hence i guess i really don't have much choices in this P2C supp registration.

I definitely have seen Pei Tong's name in some prize presentation....and discipline wise, no worry, police HQ just across the road ...(okay this point   )
