... We got 2 sets of uniform and 2 sets of PE attire first, together with a polo-tee that is used for sch excursions. Later, sashimi had to go back to get another set of uniform...

Indeed, I think you need a min of 3 sets of uniform, and 3 sets of PE attire.

I do hope it is more organized & spread out at TNS. I just hate to waste time standing in queue. šŸ˜ž

It will be good to bring along a basket/mini trolley on wheels too. You know, the kind that \"aunties\" like to push/drag along when they go to the market? Or bring one of those small, collapsible trolleys. Books are heavy.

DD's PE lessons are only on 2 days of the week so 2 sets are enough. However, if she needs her shorts more often, then I have to handwash. Her shorts are not colourfast and I only have one non-colourfast wash per week, on weekends. This is the only annoying part. Luckily, everything else is colourfast and dries fast and doesn't need ironing.

Wow like that maybe I should get the NTUC Trolley to use when I'm at the oridentation day. Seem like it going to be a fish market.

BTW, textbook can purchase from outside? At least can have free delivery & the hassle to carry them home during the oridentation day.

So, I will look out for a guy pushing the NTUC trolley on orientation day. šŸ˜‰

If you want to bring trolley, no problem. I'm sure some (first-time) parents may laugh at you behind your back on orientation day but when you coolly push the books past them without breaking a sweat (while they struggle with bags of stuff), it'll be your turn to laugh.

(I tend to get \"teased\" when I bring lots of luggage while travelling. The \"extras\" are actually empty. Then, when it's time to return home, I laugh at those who struggle to hand carry their purchases or resort to buying an extra bag. :politebleah:)

I think you can purchase online but no guarantee all books needed are easily available outside school since different schools may use different texts. Besides, online shopping may have discounts. You should receive the book list in the mail together with the orientation letter. Use it to check the online shops first. If not available/out of stock, then buy from the school on orientation day.

Ya...remember to promote KSP at the same time. Stick a KSP logo over NTUC's.
