you are welcome!
if i remembered correctly, the feedback i got from some other parents (via pm) is that their CL compo's standard are quite high.
my P3 is still attending berries (don't think able to wean him off berries...but at least i am less stressful over his MT as currently he can manage satisfactorily in Paper 2). his berries does teach CL compo, but i supplement it with home exercises towards exam period, else he is those type who attend and forget type.
so far, his CL compo exercises from berries, one similar exercise topic came out in SA2 exam in P1.

Hi all,
Does anyone have feedback on Eduplus Language Centre pls? How’s their preschool and primary programme?
Thanks! -
Between Berries, Eduplus, and Han iP, which programme would you all choose for 4-5 year olds?
Hoping to gather more feedback before i decide on one. Thanks! -
I’ve learnt a lot from this kiasu parents forum. Many parents here took effort to share their experience here. With so many language centres around, I find it difficult to try all of them. Moreover, trial class is usually not a true representation of how good a class is. I’ve shortlisted berries and tien hsia after going thru hundreds of posts in this forum.
Berries is very popular, no vacancies plus long waiting list. Hence I gave tien hsia a try. I was lucky to found this centre. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The chinese teacher is dedicated and approachable. She is also strict with the students if the students are not attentive. I prefer strict teachers because it is not easy to control whole class of toddlers without an acceptable level of discipline. The class is lively, a lot of hands on activity. The technique is quite similar to JG mandarin class but JG’s class usually has two teachers to role play, with lots of puppet show and captivating activities. Tien hsia is more academic based, with a balanced mixture of hands on activity and worksheet. Perhaps it’s not fair to compare because JG is more speech&drama based, with emphasis on conversational mandarin. I like Tien hsia because it is just nice ( balanced) to prepare a child for both oral and written chinese. I can’t wait to put my second child in this centre next yr. I get very excited when I find a good teacher, lingling laoshi, a rare gem nowadays. -
Anyone know about any good chinese enrichment or tuition centre for K1 to Pri 1 ? Eager to send my 2 kids for chinese tuition as they only speak English daily and seldom speak or practice Chinese. Afraid they will be in BIG TROUBLE if go to Primary 1. Can advice any good or strict chinese enrichment or tuition centre or CC to recommend ?
Thank you. -
Hi pancake77,
