ya when I go NTUC, very scared to see the orange dot sticker on the price tag. I recall hearing that it means price will increase soon.
passion cards can gain points, but i din have the card, sob.. maybank i also din apply double sob.. i bought gain IQ for Ds & Gain Kid for DD, now one tin GAin IQ already 60 plus, Gain Kid 55.. this price is $10 more compare to 2 years back..patntee:
Wah you super, buy more than $600 milk powder. I only bought 4 tins of Gain Kids for DD1 cos of offer price and I still have a few tins of Gain from previous stock up.
By the way do you have the Maybank Family and Friends credit card? Gives you another 5% rebate at Guardian on top of whatever offer price, can save even more. In April this year the card even gave 10% rebate. That was when I stocked up. -
ausbee:
Thanks ausbeepatntee, have a fun trip. it will be tiring, but you will enjoy the time with your kids.
there's promo at $598nett for 3D2N stay RWS. i already booked a pkg for that and i'm looking forward to it with my DH and DD!
I saw this promo before. It's a good deal with the 2 nights stay and USS tickets. Festive hotel is nice for family with kids. I haven't stayed at the hotel myself but USS went recently with the kids and had a great time, minus the super hot weather

DS this morning said to me \"mummy, up up..\" i was sitting down, not knowing what he wants, i continue to sit down, he then said \" up up, walk walk..\" pointing at the book shelf, \"take book\".. ouchchc.. he can speak in such a way, i can understand what he is talking about ! so happy lor so proud of him
Hi micollh, is yr DS around 14 mth if I can recall correctly fr one of yr precious posting? His speech development is quite advance. Must be an intelligent child. -
actanz, 17 mths plus now…i feel his speech is earlier than his sister, tt’s why i think maybe bcos he is second child, thus she has someone (DD) to pick up from… he can say many words that my DD only say when she is older. im impressed too.

Very impressed indeed. My dd1 started to walk around 18 mth n started to talk around 19 mth She can recognize words or picturesby pointing but refused to pronounce when u ask or teach her. Compared to her cousin, she was quite delayed in her developmental milestones.
With my dd2, hopefully her learning development is better than her sister. She is now 8 1/2 mth. -
ectanz, we hope for the best, let it happen on its own…

i think it doesn't work that way for me! haha. my ds1 was the fastest in speech devt.
dd now at 18mth, definitely not like ds1, cos she is still babbling a lot, although i do understand her most of the time cos she'll point or make certain noises. i have to try and pretend i don't know what she wants sometimes though, in order for her to try tell me what it is. but she's def quieter than ds1.
think it just boils down to each kid being different. your ds could be more advanced in speech.
my ds2 was much slower in speech devt than ds1 but was earlier in knowing how to read words and books than ds1. now dd, both also not fast, haha, but i think she's much better in some areas!
like she is more cautious and so has far less injuries than her brothers at this stage. my boys used to be so active AND careless. they fall and get injured all the time. this girl will try to climb and do some reckless things too, but she does them with care and caution. perhaps just the difference between boys and girls huh? -

ya, don't worry ectanz. your dd1 is ok and doing fine now right?
i used to be worried abt ds2's speech too! but he's fine now. i guess some kids just like to take their time in certain areas.

:thankyou: Ya, she okay now. Entering to p1 next yr. I hv let her attended some enrichment classes when she was 4 yrs as i hv limited time to coach her due to work commitment. When she was young b4 gg to preschool, she was quite introverted as she was the only child at tat time but now she is very active.micollh:
