2011 P1 Registration Exercise for 2012 In-Take

Like most of us, I believe the ‘leftover’ schools still have their own merits & strengths. They are less popular mainly due to an unfavourable location usually.


I also empathize with ateo in his frustration, especially in today’s context where we have so many immigrants. However, I would vent my dissatisfaction at our Chinapore govt, instead of labelling the remainder schools as ‘‘çrap’’.

My child was not successful at Phase 2C, while her K2 classmate from China got in in this Phase. I’m still unhappy, so what if this family has converted to Singapore citizens (Pink NRIC)?

But think on the positive side, & move on…Btw, I would still go back to the school we preferred at Phase 2C, every 5 yrs, because it’s the polling station for General Elections. Very easy guess to whom my vote goes to…!!!

I called school juz now asking abt the the situation of p2c supp reg, as in the total applicants so far but the staff told me they cannot reveal coz it’s MOE’s policy, like tat one meh?

@amslck: yes, just go ask to be on their waiting list. i am doing that too as our first choice is still the nearest to our home. there maybe hopes before school terms start, after P3, etc…we never know.


@NoeNothinG: they should let you know. else, how you can decide to pull out and go with another choice if you need to ballot? hmm…

Like that means even among citizens, we must differentiate between citizens of longer and shorter tenure isit??

Please lah, as if, the current system of priority based on distance, PV etc is not bad enough, now must differentiate between citizens of different tenure...LOL

fyi all the schools i've called so far willing to disclose what i need to know, tat means how many applicants and the breakdown of applicant in terms of distance, say if the school will only conduct balloting for less than 1 km, the staff will advise me dun need to try liao...go for other schools

i asked, repeat after her & confirm again \" No balloting needed?\" She replied yes & said to wait for confirmation letter which they will be mailing out on monday...
