      Hi Pancake77,

      Thanks for your help.
I am looking for a school with outdoor facilities and other curriculums like bring childrens to visit zoo or musuem. OF course, caring teacher wtih passion in teching is a must. Maybe i am asking for too much. But just hope to find a dream school within our budget.

baby Haven sound good but far from my house. Do you know anything about Pat’s school at katong or siglap?

      Cheers!!

[quote="pancake77"]I’ve visited most infantcare. So far Baby Haven is one of those better ones. Their teachers are very caring. They have huge playground with lots of outdoor slides, swings, tricycles. My boy took only two days to fit in. The teachers update me everyday about my boy ie whether he finish his meal, milk, milestones etc. They are honest even if my boy is not eating much. Now improving. My boy looks forward going to Baby Haven everyday. He cries for he has mistaken he’s not going to school when he sees his kor-kor get down from the car first before him in the morning. The previous principal has left, and I’m glad she did. Once I asked her whether teachers help to potty train, she answered with narcism, saying that nowadays parents are so dependent on childcare and can’t even take care of their own children. The new principal Ms Gwendolyn is much better and humble. She greets parents and she helps out when teachers are busy. Although she is young, she is very experienced in handling problems. So far she is the best principal I’ve met.

        Hi Kabalevsky,

Thanks for sharing. Yes the principal called me on the same day to let me know. I visited the place yesterday its abit old and rundown, hopefully with renovation and clean up it will look new. Loved that there will be outdoor playground area for the kids now. They will be taking over the whole building? Seems big?

Ms Maureen taught my girl in K1 and for 3 months in K2 at Jubilee Park before she was promoted to be the vice principal of Raffles branch. She is a very good teacher. I believe the standards should be high at the new Pat's branches too.

Last time when Jubilee park was new, I was also worry that my girl might only get new inexperienced teachers. However, this is not true. Being a premium presch, Pat's needs to sustain consistenly high standards in all branches. Therefore, all branches (including new ones) should be fine. I selected the branch based on convenience in terms of fetching my girl.

          Hi Applemum,

I hope you are still following this thread. I'm thinking of putting my son at Pat's at Jubilee but I'm worried that there are so many children there such that the chances of falling sick is much higher than at a CC where the numbers are small. Do the children from different classes interact? And do you know about how many children there are altogether at a time? At mealtime, do all the children eat at the same time? This is the first time my son is attending preschool or childcare, so I don't have any idea.

          Thank you!

            Wah that's nice of the P. 🙂

I think all the parents must be v curious too, cos me and Dh also drove past to take a look. 😆

Yes, I'm quite familiar with that area so in the past I remember it used to be the POSB bank and hence the structure is kind of not like a school, so angular and impersonal, not bright and cheery, right? I am surprised that Gracefields did not renovate the building's facade when it took over.

Ya, saw the outdoor playground, the equipment is very old. Hope they buy new stuff!

            So you will be registering?

                  Hi mamamiya013,

Sorry I don't know about Pat's at Katong or Siglap. As far as I know, Pat's at Halifax is good and has been receiving lots of good feedback. But that doesn't mean all the Pat's branches can live up to that good reputation. Teachers play a very important role.

Does anyone has experience with Claymore’s branch? Any feedback is appreciated.

                    Many thanks in advance.
