Does not have time to read through all 49 pages so am posting it here.

Some of my DD’s clothes have little sports of black colour which I suspect is because her cc clothes are damp (sweaty) and we don’t wash them immediately (only wash when there is full load).

Is there any solution for this?

Try vinegar and/or soaking power in the final rinse? Can try googling on the uses of vinegar. I use it to get rid of mould and prevent mould from growing on my dish-drying racks.

Everytime I pass my neigbour's house, it smells very nice and fresh. Mine always smells of food or just no smell. How to have that fresh smell without using artificial stuff? My maid cleans the house everyday, still no nice smelling house.

I can see my maid does quite a thorough job. Anyone has any suggestions? I like the house to smell nice. I know it may sound weird but it is important to me. Guess that is why I like Ion a lot as they have some nice smelling perfume put in their airconditioners :scratchhead:

No smell is actually good! My house smells of dog pee cos of my dog a lot of the times! πŸ˜‰

Have you tried using diluted white vinegar for general cleaning and the floors? As long as your floor isn't marble, or parquet, can use diluted vinegar to clean the floors. Vinegar helps to get rid of smells. The smell of vinegar may linger for a while, but after that there'll be no horrid smells.

Or you can try drying lemon or orange peels in the sun and leaving them around the house, that is if you like citrusy smells. Helps to keep the ants, and probably mozzies away as well. You can also microwave the peels so that your microwave oven will smell nice.

If you want longer lasting natural smells, then have to use aroma diffuser.
