You're welcome Orangejuice. Glad to hear that your dd's all geared up to do her best for PSLE. I hope to hear good news from you on PSLE results day.

OrangeJuice:
hi, i hv a question to ask, dunno if this is the right subject ...I understand posting results of school is usu released around 22 Dec and then the next day will be orientation day, anyone has any idea if we wish to make an appeal to a change of sec school, when will it take place ? Also, will our child be typically called up for tests or interviews after that? Thanks v much to anyone with good advice.
appeal should be submitted immediately when the PSLE result is out if there has been DSA acceptance of another school; if it is normal PSLE sec 1 posting result and wished to appeal, then it is immediately to be submitted after the posting is out, and still must report to posted school for registration
the day after posting result day is not orientation, it is registration day -
OrangeJuice:
thanks ! I am just making plans in advance as my family and I may be away from Christmas Day and I am afraid in case DD didnt get into school that she wants and is only a point or 2 away then we may try an appeal. Any idea RGS' practice when it comes to appeal? (PS/ saw you on DSA thread, i was there too for a while until DD was eliminated after round 2)...Thanks v much ![/quote]if her PSLE score is near to cut offpoint of RGS, there is chance for appeal as evidently she has done well in DSA to have gone to round 2.jtoh:

Different schools have different practices and some will reflect the dates of appeals on their websites. But generally, you should go make your appeals immediately after you get your posting results.
cheer up ! got hope! -

Anyone know whether is there a change in PSLE chinese oral format this year?
My nephew was advised not to say too much of β if i were there, I were do β¦ " for the picture conversation. -

Check with DD and she said so too.Anyone know whether is there a change in PSLE chinese oral format this year?
My nephew was advised not to say too much of ' if i were there, I were do ..... \" for the picture conversation.
Flip through the worksheets given by the school and notice that only about 2 such \"If I were there, I were do....\" were being quoted two times out of the 8 - 10 descriptions.
There are more thinking put in like when described one man keep looking of watch when waiting for bus by \".............I think he must be rushing for time!\" -
Hi mummies,
Time flies and finally this Thursday and Friday are the PSLE oral.
No sure DD is in the 1st group or 2nd group or may be in different group for the two days.
Think school will let us know in this two days!
Wish all the P6 students good luck! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah: -
