oh i see, thank u.
P3B is the best class followed with P3A and P3C
only 114 student are mixed into A,B and C classes this yearraysusan:
After P2 final exams, top 120 students will be randomly grouped into 3A, 3B and 3C. The same applies to \"from P3 to P4\".
i guess there may be certain % limit
Because all the first three rank holders went to P3B in my daughter class.
she was in P2A and next year also she is P3A - she is 4th position in her class - this is based on the total score they got upon 300 -

I have not heard of any open house before. Maybe you can call the school and look for the Admin Manager (Ms Soh). She is very helpful and friendly. -
thanks DecJan for a prompt reply:).

My daughter will be attending to primary 1 in year 2013. I think I will not take the risk of choosing Admiralty school because the size of Phase 2C is shrinking :nailbite: . Recently, there is a lot celebrities sacrificed for their children by doing PV or moving nearer to the school. Really hardworking caring parents. :udawoman: :udaman:

I will probably choose Greenwood Primary.

Hi dear Bubbles in heaven,
are you so kind to share more details about "a lot celebrities sacrificed for their children by doing PV or moving nearer to the school"? do you mean that they purposely moved to this area and did PV just for joining Admiralty Primary school? Is that school so famous?
I stay within 1km to Greenwood Primary school, but I heard that Admiralty Primary is better without more supporting info. So it will be good if you can share more info about that.
Thanks in advance, and happy year of dragon. -
Hi,
My gal will be in P1 year 2013. Still can’t decide which school to enroll her? Any kind soul out there to share more info on Innova, GWPS, Admiralty, Evergreen, Woodlands Ring Pri School, pls…? -
Early this month ,Im helping my son (pri 6) to do revision. Then I spotted that his teacher did not mark his correction. Moreover inside his science file there is only 1 revision paper! My son told me there were still 1 or 2 more papers but were with his teacher!OMG the next day was his CA1 but were not given back to him.
Secondly,I had realized that there wasnt much homework.I had feedback to his form teacher, she told me not to worry there is still plenty of time! The school is ordering past year exam papers and will be giving them in april.Furthermore she need to finish up the school syllabus.I had spoke to couples of mum whose children were in pri 6 this year, their child hw were choke to their neck.
I really need help so I email to the school. His’s principal called me.I asked ab the amount of hw is decided by the school or…She reply as long as the minimum of hw is done, the school dont really interrupted."I’ve spoke to the children, they need to read more and do more if they dont have much work to do!"This was quote by the principal. She gave me a impression that the school wasn’t all out to help the Pri 6 students.Probably my boy wasn’t in the top class.
Apart from giving him tuition, the school need to help as well!
May I not right to said that! -

The same happened to my DS last year. Previous term was taught by HOD, next term trainee teacher took over. 1 week before SA1, science file was still with teacher! I went down personally to take it back as needed time to revise through! It all boils down to responsibility of teacher.Early this month ,Im helping my son (pri 6) to do revision. Then I spotted that his teacher did not mark his correction. Moreover inside his science file there is only 1 revision paper! My son told me there were still 1 or 2 more papers but were with his teacher!OMG the next day was his CA1 but were not given back to him.

Normally top classes are pushed harder. Little or no Homework when psle is in september spell how much importance the school/teacher places for that class of kids. Guess u have to depend more on your own resources at this last final dash. Principals may even tell those in sec 5 not to go O levels, with teachers telling students - \" there is an intake in april for ITE\"
