I emailed to Metropark Mongkok before on the room with extra bed too. Same as you, tot of combining the beds with extra bed should be able to accodomate all of us..

I stayed there before and I remembered that their twin beds cannot be combined as there is a wall lamp and table fixed in between the beds. They replied saying the extra bed cannot fit in the room too

Since your colleague mentioned that the beds can be combined with extra bed then it should be ok. Just need to make sure everything is ok before you commit any payment.

if they emailed and say room reserved, then take it as confirmed…since you also given credit card number

print out the email, and if they can’t have room for you after arrival, they will upgrade you to a suite if it is their fault (this is standard practice, okay not all the time suite, but always upgrade to next grade of room)

                    both are good

Prince is older so it is cheaper, Marco Polo is slightly more expensive

their podium shopping (Harbour City) is connected, lots of eateries around and within, there is a Lane Crawford as well

yes, both hotels have huge rooms, even standard rooms, some time you may be allocated room with double x double beds

We stayed in kowloon hotel before. Good location however the rooms are really small and hotel abit on the old side.

Why don't you consider citadines ashley? It has a queen size bed and a 1 person sofa bed. Good for 3 but not more. It is close to kowloon hotel. Many eateries etc... downstairs. It is fairly new so things are quite ok when we were there last nov.

                        Price point is reasonable too.
