jst to update, i called up lowloon hotel and ask for extra bed, can be done so long it's a double bed then is ok.. if it's a twin beds then cannot. heee

We stayed in kowloon hotel before. Good location however the rooms are really small and hotel abit on the old side.

Why don't you consider citadines ashley? It has a queen size bed and a 1 person sofa bed. Good for 3 but not more. It is close to kowloon hotel. Many eateries etc... downstairs. It is fairly new so things are quite ok when we were there last nov.

      Price point is reasonable too.

I will be bringing some medication over to standby for just ‘in case’ issues for my kids… eg: runny nose, diahiaarea, fever… and they are those big heavy bottles from polyclinic types. May I know how to make sure these bottles wont bring in the check-in luggage? Other than warpping them up with clothing…?

get some small plastic bottles and transfer the content over

hand carry luggage allows content of each bottle up to 100ml and one ziplog bag can content max 1000ml liquid in total

probably medicine is exempt if can prove

we pack them in a plastic clip-lok box and place the box in the check in bag.

I have thought it too but the medication are all brand new and not yet opened. If opened, then have to keep the remaining in the fridge for 6mths. Quite a waste.. heehee..

Hi, planning to go HK in Dec. This is my first time. (2A 1C-6 yrs old). For shopping, which is better? Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay? For shopping will be 1 day is enough as I don’t think my girl will enjoy. Main reason going to HK is for my girl. Is 2 full days in Disneyland too much? Ocean Park 1 day is enough right?

Tsim sha tsui is in kowloon

from tsim sha tsui mtr station to causeway bay mtr station is only a couple of minute by mtr

if i were you, i will get up late in tsim sha tsui, have a leisurely brunch (avoid the lunch time office crowd) in one of their cha-chan-ting, shop around tsim sha tsui after brunch, put shopping back to hotel room, then head to causeway bay, and by evening take the tram to the Peak, have dinner there, enjoy the sunset view and nite view, then head back to hotel

can't advise on DL & OP, i have never been there though i go HK every month
