there are lotsa inconsiderate drivers on the road nowadays.

do be careful especially with children onboard.

unfortunately many children are not wearing seatbelts nowadays. you can see them standing in between the 2 front passengers or looking out of the windows standing sometimes.

        what about merging lanes?

usually everyone takes turn to go but yesterday i gave way to the car that was next to mine and just as i was about to move into the merged lane, the car behind his came charging up and refused to let me pass. missed hitting my car by mere inches.

That should be the way. But some drivers not very courteous and not much common sense.

Last week Saturday morning, I was at the carpark above Bishan Bus Interchange.

I drove one round and I came across a man waiting in his car on the right side nearer to the car wash business. I decided to wait for a lot and to prevent any misunderstanding, I drove towards the other end and put on my hazzard light and waited on the left side.

Luckily for me, a man whose car was parked besides me got in. So, I moved up to allow him to exit.

Lo and below...the man who was waiting at the far end drove up and prevent me from reversing into the lot. He shouted at me and said that he waited for almost an hour for a lot and he deserved that lot. And that he is prepared to cause a stalemate.

I told him loudly \"Sir, just because you waited for almost an hour doesn't mean that you are entitled to the lot as you were waiting at the other end whereas I was besides it\". And asked him to be a gentleman and luckily, he came to his senses and move off.

I am sharing this incident not to get confirmation to affirm my actions but to clarify whether rules have changed for such situation.

I have been in that poor man's situation before and I consoled myself by saying \"it all boils down to timing and luck\".
i encountered several similar occasions and the drivers were all youngsters, aggressively claiming that they were in the carpark before you and they have the right to the vacant lot....funny thing was that their cars were 50m to 80m away from the lot, in the opp direction whereas my car was just next to the lot in the same direction....

Unfortunately, lots of people oddly don't realise it or don't care, and it often frustrates me. But what to do, a lot of drivers here are like that. Just have to be Zen and let such road irritations go. πŸ™‚

along Lornie Road, the mobile speed cam are on the overhead pedestrian bridge behind tree, so please don't cheong when everyone on every lane dutifully set their cruise control at 70 km/hr to avoid being booked, so be patient, the motorists in front is helping you not to get booked......i got two warnings in two months already.... one more time I will need to employ a driver

I travel that stretch very often as well. During off peak hours, very easy to unconsciously travel faster then 70km/hr. I also kenna dunno how many warnings oredi.

This overhead bridge is the one near MacRitchie or the one near Japanese Association?[/quote]Overhead bridge near MacRitchie. Be careful. Fine $$ + demerit pts. πŸ˜“
