      Hi fellow breastfeeding mummies,

I intend to purchase a new breast pump to replace my current one. I was recommended the Medela Pump In Style Advanced.

Can any of the mummies using the above model provide any feedback? How is it comparable to the Medela Freestyle??

Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

      😄

autumnbronze, I used Freestyle so cannot give first hand experience on PISA. When I was buying my set the promoter told me the motor functions are similar. So in the end I bought Freestyle because easier to lug around in any other bag. But I did hear of people who tried both and say PISA suction is stronger? You might want to validate further on that fact.

Thanks for your feedback patntee 😄

Yes, I have been told by at least 3 users that the PISA suction power is strong.

Hence, I bought the PISA shoulder bag version.

          🕺

hello comrades, currently still bfing dd, planning to stop next year when she turns 3 and i go back to work. Bfing is the best decision I’ve ever and will ever make, and I seriously think that it was what helped me out of my postnatal blues.

As I type, she’s happily latched on.

CayennePepper, omgmum, you are amazing to breastfeed for so long. Sometimes I regret going on that path for my DS when he behaves so addicted to latching. It’s embarrasing when we are outside and he wants to pull up my top and makes a big fuss crying and screaming when he doesn’t get his way. He is only 15mths now. Did you face similar problems before? If yes, how did you manage?

Previously I used a hand me down PIS, than later I got the freestyle and I love it!! now, I even pump while eating breakfast or lunch, and I can walk around the house while pumping and have both hands free to do stuff! Also, I have never used the max setting for it either!

Does anyone have any tips for getting BB to sleep longer through the night? my BB is now 8 mths old. And still waking up at around 3 to 5am and want to play for at least 1.5 hrs, than bf before she will go back to sleep. I heard / read somewhere that some parents make their BB’s last feed to have cereal or formula… but I don’t want to intro formula cos I definitely have enough breast milk! Any suggestions? I am getting so tired waking up every night!
