Saw the speeches on youtube and thought someone added in sound effects but it looks like the booing was real. But the pp on stage were very steady…none of them lost composure - all still fairly smiley. Either pretend dunno, or really never hear.


Whatever it is, quite unsporting to boo leh.

Precisely, I thought it was sound effects added to the clips. We are in Singapore, these people will sure behave like nothing is going on. But not sure about countries like Taiwan??? maybe a fight will erupt and you see supporters and politicians throwing at each other. :roll:

I think they didn't hear - I mean they probably thought they were being cheered upon rather than being jeered at ... afterall, it was quite noisy.. can't really hear what the crowd was chanting.. and I believe they don't understand Hokkien (referring to the \"chiak leow bee\"). hahahahaha

And yes not right to boo... but u know what, i think majority will still vote him in ...somehow! In the recent GE, people also jeered at PAP but look who won in the end... so maybe PE also sama sama outcome
