Hi Sanrio10, thanks for your link.
I am keen and tried calling the registration but they mentioned that they do not have such event going on. :?
Actually I was trying to check if there is any other available dates as 10 October is in between the PSLE papers and may not be able to attend.
Any idea if there is another contact to enquire for other available dates and time ? Thanks -

Hi,
My son school is having a Cyber Wellness Talk for parents in September. I understand that the speaker is from Touch Cyber Wellness and Sports. You can check out their website under Touch Community. Last year, parents of confirmed DSA applicants of HCI were invited to a similar Cyber Wellness Talk and I found the speaker who were from Touch Cyber Wellness very enlightening. I implemented some of the recommended strategies and has seen improvement in my son’s behaviour. I would like to encourage all parents whose children spend alot of time on computer and internet to attend such talks. I regret not attending earlier as my son was already addicted to computer gaming by the time I discovered. Regardless what age is your child, it is never too early to understand and learn more. -
Wow, the comic strips used in the website really strikes a cord.

I think its really time parents look towards addressing such issues, face on. Otherwise the drift between the child and the parent will only increase. Better to start young when the child is still 'controllable'.
I hope they will share some hands on skills or methods we can use .... -
Dearest all , i am new here and this is one first post (right after reading the forum header) . I will consider attending this conference has I really feel the need to understand more about cyberwellness. Even though my girl is still young. haahaa … a bit Kiasu rite ??
