Hi. I am new here, brand new. DS has acsi co but we did not tell him. He says he does not want to know outcome, so that he will not be \"cocky\" in his revision. So for this Friday session, obviously he will not be going but dh will go. Is that ok? He only applied to acsi coz he is a true blue acsian

huh...then should let him know the happy news mah! Once in a life time! :rahrah:

i immediately sms my ds when i received the letter (CO) from RI.. and he too called me back immediately to confirm the good news! i just couldn't wait a second to tell him the good news!!! :boogie:

It's good news so I see no harm in letting him know. And he should attend the talk with his father. I'm sure he can handle the good news without becoming 'cocky'. Tell him to give himself some credit. πŸ™‚
There is this 'cooling' ginseng tea bag from Eu Yan Sang which is useful to have around. Clarinase is good. Problem with most flu med -- one gets drowsy.

Dont take too much Clarinase. Read the product insert for side effects (I used to do Clinical Research)

          Hi lynn2010

How about zrytec? I give it when my ds has running nose

Can anyone let me know the ginseng tea. Is it to cure flu or to be taken as prevention of flu.

          Thanks
Sorry my dear. I'm not a doctor. Ginseng is natural lah. Medicine always take when necessary. Clarinase stands up as i read a case on that before; not deadly lah, just go and read the side effects. Clarinase is a very good drug, just dont take too much. I'm just afraid that we parents get a little desperate cos young ones taking PSLE. Then they take too much. Natural always best - lots of rest, lots of water and vitamins (fruits) and sleep early. At this stage, they should be ready for the exams. So go to bed on time, lots of water, just revise, dont stress them.

Good luck to all kids taking prelims & PSLE

Hmmmmm. Consequence of me telling him now, if he does not do as well as he what he is aiming for.....Hmmmmm. Nah, i think I will just keep quiet till after psle. Thanks anyway.
