My DD1 born 03 Dec 2006, stay in Woodlands.

She has finally hit 14kg this month :rahrah: . 96cm tall.
She is attending K1 at childcare centre during the weekdays and attending Tien Tsia on Sat.
She can speak and recognise several english words but cannot say a complete sentence of chinese. Really worry when she goes to Primary school. I intended to put her at Green Wood Primary.

                    hi bubblesIH,
                    welcome.
mine is a year end kid too. but he is 20kg and exceeded 110cm. many people thought that he is in P1 (ie if he doesn't speak la šŸ˜‰)
try to speak to your girl more in mandarin. my ds1 (now in P3) could not speak mandarin too in K1, but now he can after attending enrichment since K1. šŸ™‚ we used to have speak mandarin days during weekends. šŸ™‚
preschool curriculum and environment is very important. my ds2 is more willing to converse with me in mandarin as his preschool chinese curriculum is more structure/conducive than ds1's preschool (i sent them to different šŸ˜“)

this afternoon, a sales person/preacher (not so sure) made my day....

as i was about to close the front door to go to the bedroom, the salesman/preacher stopped by and asked..
                      小妹妹, 你妈妈åœØ家吗? :imcool: :imcool:
(translate: little girl, is your mum at home?)
Are you sure the preacher is talking to you, and not the 小妹妹 beside you? It's the Seventh Month, after all. :scared:
