Hi Natifmummy

How is Mr Chin in terms of school standard?

I know some principals are very on.Thanks

      NatTif Mummy:
I prefer my ex-ex-principal, Mr Chen. He is a very caring person, he personally coach the weaker students (Pr6)from poor family everyday before school starts, even during school holidays. In these days, I think can't find someone like him now. I m very proud of him as I m one of the students he has taught 😄

Just to share: I hope next year, Pei Chun will introduce some \"fun\" language programmes, eg: Speech and Drama in Chinese for all Primary 1. let this be the extra subject(without exam), I believe the kids will love it.

My husband who was an ex-student donkeys years ago also said that he was tuitored by ex-ex-principal, Mr Chen. Must be a very concerning person.
Mr Chin would make an effort to talk to and mingle with lower primary students during recess time. He told them stories during assembly and gave out little prizes for quizzes. My gal would come back excitedly and tell me she how she was picked and won that prize. He is humble and never seems to get angry.
Happen to see this post and just wish to share my thoughts:

My Dd was in P1 and P2 when Mr Chin was a principal. He taught them many interesting Chinese poems and told them many Chinese moral stories during assembly. Gifts were given to encourage students to learn more. Dd learnt many many from him. She could even recite many interesting Chinese poems at home (we didn't teach her any at all) and her Chinese really improved tremendously. But later when my another child, Ds joined pcps later, unfortunately Mr Chin left to further his studies and sadly he left pcps and now he was with Tao Nan (so lucky to have him). Sad to say and very unlucky that Ds learnt no Chinese poems and no Chinese stories during assembly. Dd preferred and missed Mr Chin's times of days even it was only just for 2 years. During assembly, no more stories now.........

          Dear Parents,

can I check with you that this 18th and 19th are school holidays for the P1s??

Also for Maths MA3 what are the topics tested? I dont think I see notification...

          Thanks!!!

Yes because its oral exams for the P6 taking PSLE so all other levels do not need to go to sch.

Just received the PN, 29 Aug also an off day for all. Due to the oncoming Presidential Election.

          Thanks!! :thankyou:

                Hi Callie,

The info was given out in the beginning of the year which included all the topics to be tested for each of the MAs this year for all subjects.

                Regards
                Aggie

                  Hi Aggie,

Yes I do recall we receiving the memo but am not too sure is it consistent now… sometimes the teaching might be faster or what, hence they might make some changes to the topics tested…

                  Thanks!!

You can contact the bus vendor to make enquiries on the bus routes and the info can be found at pei chun website...

For P1, they are all in the afternoon session. Hence, there are only situations when the kiddos need to go school earlier for certain lessons/remedial. In such situations, we have to arrange our own transport...
