      Hi morning,

Just came back after chatting with DD's classmate mother.

Today DD is on 2nd group and we went McDonald for breakfast and she had 20 minutes game before reporting to school.

Wish all the P6 students good luck for this final round of EL/CL oral!!! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

        Hello Brenda,

        Good morning.
DS is also in 2nd group, but for both day.

He was just happy going to school cos the teachers in school are so supportive and warm.I am so touched by the little gesture by the teachers, as told by DS.One of the girl, whole hair was so messy, and the teacher actually helped her to tie the hair again.Night before, Eng teacher send three full pages of sms to all 41 kids in class to give them the due support.

The teachers joke and cheer them all. This is something I never had during my school days.

        Cheers,
        Leanne

              Brenda,

With the Presidential Election on Sat 27/8/11, Won't the Folllowing Monday Be Holiday?
And TUe is Hari Raya Holiday, And Thu is Teachers' day (Sch Hols?) ....
Then Probably by End of Next Week You Can Hear the Good News from DHS!
              šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚

              HI Funx3,

Think may be their entire exercise for audition/trial/interview period is quite long as one of the DD classmate (Applied under DAS - General or Academic) just went for interview last Friday!

Let's hope that we can recd some good news soon!

Possible. Considering that MOE cut-off date is 2 Sep, all schools have to inform DSA outcome before the date.

                Hi Pen88n,

Think next week will be our turn to looking forward to see the postman! :please:

Sure, not necessary a room but is there any clearly labelled \"student's corner\" for primary school ?

The purpose of oral exams is to test the child's oral skills so I don't see any point throwing in a focus which requires them to deduce functions from an English label. But, oh well.........

                  How's today topics ?
                  Hee Hee pixiedust ....
                  Too Early to ask ....
ALL Kids still in \"Detention\" ....
                  Wait till After 10.30am -la!

Yes, so glad that the teachers are so supportive nowadays. On Wed (before all the PSLE oral), DS' teachers individually bought them oreo, snack bars, packet of cereals, etc. for their \"breakfast\" for the next few days. Told the kids must have a good breakfast before coming to school. So sweet of the teachers! Talking about that, must get some Teachers' Day gifts for the teachers - week after next is Teachers' Day!

                      Brenda,
I think my neck is longer than Vlim (hv not measured yet, though :rotflmao: ). Actually, I'm not having high hopes as it is not easy to go thru' DSA route by academic. As such, I kept telling DS to concentrate on PSLE. DSA is just an opportunity that he tried and got some exposure and experience.

More like 11+am. Kids need time to get home - DS will take about 30-45mins by bus and foot šŸ˜‰
