      phtthp:
      called up admin.

i asked - so, how are the girls grouped & distributed into different class ?
she replied - first sort the girls' names in alphabetical order, next then group the girls into 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Total 9 classes. Each class 30 girls.

so, all the '1' go into class 1, the '2' enter class 2, the '3' enter class 3, etc.
First time to hear about this, interesting...Thanks for sharing.

Today’s PSLE MT oral exam is "Students’ Corner"( in English). When I asked DD if there is any such Students’ Corner in RGPS, was told there isn’t a Students’ Corner in the sch. Is Students’ Corner common in other primary schools ?

Believe some pupils may not be able to translate the words " Students’ Corner" into Chinese as it is not something they can identify with?

for P1-P6, is there a list of external enrichment program(s) service providers used in our school ? can't seem to find it on our school website ...

meanwhile, NYPS has got one whole long list:-

                yes, agree!

and notice that some of the enrichment classes are at subsidized rates, because NYPS got bulk students, can reap economies of scale discount, instead of one by one go there alone …

will be good if from 2012 onwards, our school can arrange something similar.

better still if can get some of these enrichment service providers to come down RGPS premises, borrow 1 or 2 classroom(s) to conduct the enrichment lessons either before / after school (depend on which session, what level) - then can save so much precious time, transport ferrying kid up and down (troublesome!).

just go for 1 or 2 essential ones will do …

Very good suggestion...we should raise this good idea to RGPS management.
