The school finish the units just before exams.How to practise?P3 term1 onwards I correct the worksheets.T never correct.So parent should be a eduacted one.If the parent don’t know how to correct the worksheets then how?

Lack of prctise for some tricky qns and I scared that he always do some careless mistakes.Morning I reminded him how to do carefully.
Prev. exam he copy the numbers from qns wrongly for 4 qns in model.All 4 models workings correct.He loss 15 marks in careless!.I explained him how important even 1 mark also.
Yesterday only he did the equvalent fraction, so lack of practise.Morning also I asking one qn he said correctly. He will do without careless mistakes.

That's why I purchase the PSLE past year questions booklet aims to get the answer key to go through with DD while she was doing during the June holiday.

I check the booklet and notice many sectons still not mark yet depsite prelim is this week!!!

No choice have to make double purchase, one through school (not answer key sheet ) and one on our own!

I also think this but waste money.I buy extra set then ask him to do in the holiday before school start.cos next year P4.

I think maths must do more often than other subjects as this is the only way to help them remain sharp and alert!

Also a lot ot exposure will help them to handle the questions better!

When nearby exam only I push very hard and make him to do and no school.
I think everyday I should sit with him and do one by one qns.

Now I am using assessment books.I asked him to do assessment book first.Then I saw where he didn't get from his wrong answers.Then I Teach.Then I have topic paper then I asked him to do then we do pastpapers.
This time he only finish assessment book.For volume he didn't finish.
Now I feel better to do past paper directly.Assessment book is not worth.
How do u do?

Hi smartmummy,

We straight away zoom into the past year papers.

Assessment book act as a reference or support when DD can't solve the question or when she is learning new method.

Think this can save a lot of time.

Just my 2 cents thought!
