Nebbermind:
nope. not kidding. a particular minister was a guest of honour for a function but then my boss said that he couldn't come already cuz now there are other ministers in the cabinet. so there is a blanket rule that NO mps are allowed in case, the \"undesired\" mps get invited by schools.

but of course, this news is not announced for obvious reasons.

PA funded by tax payers should be more presidential; independant and above politics. The feeble reasons given by PA makes me feel like a P6.

Sometimes school admin treats us like this too... Actually it is called condescending.

PA should be independent. Why can’t the government just have a more level playing field for all parties. Haven’t they learn from the last elections that people are not stupid to just take their explanations?

it's normal for any party or person in power to do that, as long as they still hear the voices of the common man. But somehow many of us feel that they had left on their 5-star private yacht while majority are left behind in our sampan....or holding on to the lifebouy. 😢

Vote for change is essential before they change the laws to suit themselves. True colours do not show when everyone’s on their side. They only show when there are worthy opponents - and their tactic sucks.
Regarding Workers’ Party’s media release on HDB transferring prime event locations to PA

UPDATED ON AUGUST - 23 - 2011 0 COMMENT
The Singapore People’s Party read Workers’ Party’s media release on HDB transferring prime event locations to PA with disgust It is a dirty tactic characteristic of the PAP and the government it controls.
Former-MP for Potong Pasir Mr Chiam See Tong suffered this kind of abuse all his 27 years as MP. The Singapore People’s Party were also denied access by the Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council to use public void decks to meet residents and supporters after GE2011, whilst the PAP team was allowed to do so a few weeks after.
The Singapore People’s Party stands in solidarity with the Workers’ Party in this matter and will support the WP should the matter go to court.
http://www.spp.org.sg/regarding-workers-partys-media-release-on-hdb-transferring-prime-event-locations-to-pa/
