hi, I've pmed you. Go try and see if this works. -
Mummies, I have been following this thread with interest..can I know where is TAS?
also is it true that TLL \"screen\" the parent's background before accepting the child?
TIA for replying my queries!!!

Hi Porky,
Tas operates at AMK (near AMK hub), Singpost and Bt Timah (BT Shopping centre).
As for TLL, I don’t think they screen parents background. but I have heard of kid from elite school who was accepted automatically vs kid from non-elite school who either had to go through entrance exam/rejected - and they were siblings somemore. But they may have changed this. Better to check with them directly. -
My kid is with TAS. Anybody needs referral so we can both benefit from the scheme?

thank you hquek

does TAS have a website for me to get the contact details? -
Hi porky,
There are few online, I got a bit lost as to which one is the latest. http://www.thealternativestory.com/
Be aware it may not be so easy to get hold of them. phones are usually directed to a mobile. -
okie dokie, once again thank you hquek

I didn’t have problem when I tried to contact them. I sent them email to check on the class schedule and available vacancy. They replied within 1 or 2 days. I later went down to the AMK branch to talk to them and eventually arranged for the entry assessment for my gal. As there is still vacancy available (last one!), I manage to put my gal in the class ( my preferred timing).
Those interested can perhaps try to email them. Coz I think they respond to email faster compared to phone as sometime there seem to be nobody picking up the call.
