You want to explain \"人之初\" to a 3yo? In Chinese some more?

No... I'm just going to let her listen and get used to the words and sounds. That's more than good enough for me!

I ripped out the videos, removed all the intro and excess stuff, snipped off the \"irrelevant\" parts of the video, and then played them on one of the digital frames which I bought last year on an SD card. Can also burn to VCD if I want. Really effective now as a \"programming\" tool to burn-in Chinese indoctrination into my kid 🙂 No need to rent/borrow quixation's husband some more. I myself am getting programmed by it. Can also start to recite san zi jing myself 😉

can anyone tell me why ‘san zi jin’ is so popular in singapore?

what is the real benefit, except for moral value?

              Hi All,

              Hi,

I would like to recommend this Duji Ban for kids. Currently my boy who is 5 yrs old was in it and I can see that he improved alot on his Chinese language.

This Dujin Ban teach about TANGSHI, those chinese poems etcs.

Cost fees around S$45 for 10-12 lessons-1 term

These classes conducted at Yew Tee CC(Sat evening) & Admiral CC(Admiralty) on Sunday evening. 😄

The reason we started on San Zhi Jing besides Bai Jia Xing, Tang Shi, Di Zhi Jing, Lun Yu, etc is that San Zhi Jing is easier to 'chant' and memorize. Its also the one of the main basic ancient chinese books that practically covers all chinese morals, way of life and history. I think its a good way to instill basic Chinese morals in my baby, creates bonding time for my mandarin educated husband and my baby, teaches her something else besides just reading chinese characters and mandarin and who knows, it may help her in some way in future since China is not the domineering market. Before I bought these series, I ask the China Sales lady why would we need to know this since it not taught in our local syllabus. She told me that these is still being taught in China to students including the very 'cheem' Lun Yu (confusius dialogue studies) and that all China kids grow to understand the morals being taught in these books. So I decide to get it in hope that my baby can relate to the certain chinese cultures, beliefs, etc if she needs to deal with CHINA people in future. Most importanly, I want her to be effectively billingual without losing touch with her chinese roots..

You shld read SAN ZHI JING first to understand it, am sure you will be won over by beauty..3 word phrases with super deep meanings..

Love that word chant used. Flows like a pop song that's why it can remain popular for so long.

CD is okay, but My boy prefer me to read to him. There are also songs from san zhi jin that can be download online.
