My dd likes to take photos with my DSLR. We look at the photos after she’s taken them and discuss about how the framing may have been better etc.

I like photography myself but i guess i do not have an eye for such stuff cos my pic usually do not turn out well. Is there any not too expensive courses for newbies like myself (not for DSLR but normal compact camera).

I bought a Lumix TZ10 last year but i dont know why the still pic of buildings etc looks good and clear but when it comes to my kids it is not too good. It is usually too bright (over exposed ?) on the face. I only use the scene mode (sports or kids) not the manual settings as i have no idea how to use them. Or they are blur due to lighting (indoor even when the lights are on).

the blur pic is not just the face but even the surroundings / background is not clear. any idea why ?

I used to have an old canon ixus (with much lower specs) which i am happy with the many pic i took.

            TIA

              Hi,

I am not expert in photography, but seems there are quite a number parents or maybe our DS or DD who are interested in photography, let's get together here and share our 'knowledge' about photography.

We could start with uploading our picture here.

              Keep on shooting......

                  Hi intermezzo,

                  I like landscape the most.

I think we could post pictures with data setting so as we could learn from others 😄
