        the \"helps\" is related to the singular act of \"having small ears\". it is not dependent on the ears. So for e.g. \"having big nose helps\" too. :rotflmao:

        warmth is singular.

              Both are correct, but I would encourage students to use the same spelling of the word throughout their work and not have both \"realize\" and \"realise\" in the same composition.

                Hi! Mdm Koh, thank you for your reply. My DD wrote realized in her comp, the teacher changed to realised.

                    DD's teacher only accepts 'realised'. Her reasoning is Singapore follows British education system (such as 'O' & 'A' levels) and its way of spelling. Therefore, for all words ending with either 'ise' or 'ize', the teacher will only accept 'ise'. 😂
