With the PSLE results, does anyone know what sort of marks are classified under A*/A/B/C... ??
Sorry, hope i am making sense here.

Just preparing myself...hahahaha...my ds MT is really not that good...so wondering if it will be a 'B' or maybe even a \"C\" ๐Ÿ˜ž

Some ideas on the score/grading system from the experts here will be much appreciated!
:thankyou:
Hi
Based on what my older two went thru, about 40% of the cohort gets A and A* for English, Math and Science. For Chinese, about 80% of cohort gets A or A*. Ultimately it is the actual T score for each subject that counts.
Hi Fuzzy Bear, Thanks for attempting to answer my doubts, appreciate it.
But i was wondering what could possibly be the range of marks for these grades. read in another thread that A* = 91 and above. If thats true....my son chinese will bound to be no more than a \"B\" i think.
Basing on Most Sch Scoring system ....
A* - 91 and Above
A - 75 to 90
B - 65 to 74
So there's a Large Range of Marks that can Qualify as A .... ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰
Thanks for the info!!

Any of your children took the Combine Hokkien Huay Kuen Pre-lim papers? How do they find the standard? According to my DD, she says itโ€™s easier than Chong Fuโ€™s paper.

DS also complained his Maths paper tough, and Maths is so far his stronger subject! :faint: His Maths teacher has also commented that the class Maths marks have dropped. Other than that, he said English teacher told them their marks are \"not good\".......Given that next week is a short week, suspect that teachers will start going through the prelim papers immediately after their HMT paper tomorrow.
