DD's Science papers was also quite tough. She left about 10 minutes as she spent quite a lot of time at the MCQ. :nailbite:

Some of her classmates left with a few open & end questions not done as times out! :scared:

Ya, the science MCQ are real killers.....DD said that for some questions, the answers sama-sama...all look like the correct answer... :slapshead:
Marks are very precious in this section...2 marks each!

Is there any purpose for the prelim other than as a warm up to PSLE? Will the secondary school consider the prelim results as reference if the child happen to miss all or partial of the PSLE exams for whatever reasons?

Heard from other parents in DD's sch that prelim results will be considered if you're on MC for PSLE......BUT rumours only hor....dunno how true :evil:
Safest thing is still...die die cannot miss out on PSLE...keke

Any of your children took the Combine Hokkien Huay Kuen Pre-lim papers? How do they find the standard? According to my DD, she says it's easier than Chong Fu's paper.

Ya I know. Chong Fu has 2 pre-lims. the 1st one is by the school. The one that she just completed is Combine Hokkien Huey Kuen (all the 5 schools took the same paper)

I just ordered. Coz after reading on this thread that the kids generally find math paper tough, i better prepare my ds and expose him to more difficult questions. But the guy said will delivery only first week of sept? thinking dunno whether got time to do. Anyway order liao.
