How was your DD's science paper today? DD's science paper was tough yesterday. Just enough time to finish paper....No time to check :nailbite:

Yeah We have an Enjoyable Outings today.
Apart from Stuffing ourselves Crazy, We Ta-Bao Back Some more ....

And Think We Have Practically Visited Most of the Pet Shops in JB (My Gal's Request) to Look at ALL those Adorable Puppies, Kittens, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Chicillas, Hamsters ....
And Ta-Bao a Lot of Stuff for Our Hamties at Home Too!


Her Sc Paper is Not as Tough as She Feared, compared to the EL, Maths, and CL Papers, (Tougher Progressively from 1st to 3rd Paper).
She's Happy that She Can Complete the Paper, but Of Course there R Some frens of Hers who have just HAntam the Ans coz short of Time ....

DD came home with a good news. It's a big surprise to us that she had scored full marks for the Science MCQ!

There are total 4 of them scored full marks for MCQ and she is very happy as this is the 1st time she able to do that!

So Your Gal's Extra Effort at Thinking thru the MCQ Q Pays Off!
And Sure to Be Among the Top Scorer in Sc in the Prelim!

To my ds, the prelim papers' level of difficulty are as follow:
English - hard
CL - easy
Maths - hard
science - hard
HCL - hard.............................

To Quote my gal, the prelim papers' level of difficulty are ....
English - Hard
Maths - Harder
CL - Even H-A-R-D-E-R ....
Science - OK
HCL - OK
Notice there is No .... Easy!?

She Finish ALL Language Prelim Papers in One evening .... on Nite B4 each Language Exam ....
while Watching TV at the Same Time ....
Of Coz w/o ALL the Compre Q -la!

hi brenda, may i ask which 8 schools' prelims papers are included in the set? DS told me that his teachers will print other GEP schools' prelims papers for them to practise before PSLE. think most schools may do the same. maybe you can check with your DD first before ordering in case there is duplication.

Just to share with all parents, as the prelim papers are of higher standard and kids might not score as well, do not look at the raw marks / score and start worrying. Ask for subject mean and standard deviation from your sch and do a T-score computation to gauge where your kid is standing for the cohort. Some schs even do that for their P6s. This might provide a better basis of comparison as a whole. But most importantly, tell your kids to learn from their mistakes and not to make the same mistakes in PSLE!
