Just to share with all parents, as the prelim papers are of higher standard and kids might not score as well, do not look at the raw marks / score and start worrying. Ask for subject mean and standard deviation from your sch and do a T-score computation to gauge where your kid is standing for the cohort. Some schs even do that for their P6s. This might provide a better basis of comparison as a whole. But most importantly, tell your kids to learn from their mistakes and not to make the same mistakes in PSLE!

Apart from Stuffing ourselves Crazy, We Ta-Bao Back Some more ....

And Think We Have Practically Visited Most of the Pet Shops in JB (My Gal's Request) to Look at ALL those Adorable Puppies, Kittens, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Chicillas, Hamsters ....
And Ta-Bao a Lot of Stuff for Our Hamties at Home Too!


Her Sc Paper is Not as Tough as She Feared, compared to the EL, Maths, and CL Papers, (Tougher Progressively from 1st to 3rd Paper).
She's Happy that She Can Complete the Paper, but Of Course there R Some frens of Hers who have just HAntam the Ans coz short of Time ....

Think that has to depend on the other section B as the teacher said almost 3/4 of the students answer wrongly for one of the question! :nailbite:

We also pull out the 2010 CL prelim papers and one short clear all the HYPI! :nunchuk:

As for compre Q, think their usual school work are sufficient to cover for this area lah! :roll:

hi brenda, may i ask which 8 schools' prelims papers are included in the set? DS told me that his teachers will print other GEP schools' prelims papers for them to practise before PSLE. think most schools may do the same. maybe you can check with your DD first before ordering in case there is duplication.

I did ask but he don't want to give in detials and jsut said the 'usual top school papers like what you had bought last year' lah!

I think dd school will only exchange papers with other schools (not in the top school paper list) based on my observation since P5 till now.

As such, the chance of deplicating is quite low.

DD Chinese tuition centre teacher told her that MOE had replied to their enquiry on the proper name used for 'student corner' in PSLE Chinese Oral. Note that 学生角落 is not acceptable, The student shld say: 校园／课室／图书馆的一角, or with reference to what the Student Corner is used for, like 让学生做功课，阅读书籍，上网, etc,etc.

Doing Well for the Paper? Don't Know Till PAper is back -la!
But at Least She's Not Stumped by Ans tt she Could not even Figure out how to derive the Solutions, that;s Why She's Happy (Very Easy to Please -hor? Ha ha ....)
