I have 'tan' 'tan' 'tan' for a while and still undecided.... so I decided to checkout Mr Brown for a sign...and this is really funny...
KSI, that is really funny ! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

      Thx for sharing πŸ˜‚

For looks, I choose Vincent. He can carry himself very well, lots of sympathy and humourous too (ie he would hug Vivian if he see him). I read his letter to President SRN to seek for clemency for the vietnam guy who carried drugs. It was a lengthy letter and full of strong reasons, though still have to abide by the law to face death penalty for drugs) It was then that I knew President has no power to pardon, as also mentioned by Leong Sze Hian.
      hi caroline3sg,
now that PE is almost over as far as polling is concern, I want to share this nice interview of Vincent Wijeysingha here. He is truly a brave eloquent and sincere person. Hope he come run in my constituency in 2016

          Mdm Koh:

Just cast my vote with my family. Sigh, the polling agents were more interested in chit-chatting than directing us. Two ladies stood right behind me chatting about random stuff. I was a little uncomfortable with that.

They're on duty and will be paid $250 and given a day off in lieu. The very least they can do is give clearer directions about where to go, especially for the elderly.

I believe most of them this year are teachers. My DF and a few of my teacher friends are on duty today.

Those two were voters too, right? Maybe they were just as nervous and what's more, they can't be discussing openly or cajoling each other to make a cross on which Tan to vote.
Didn't know teachers have to 'help' out in such occasions.

I guess the polling agents were just bored. They've been there since early morning and will be on duty till 8pm. Yup, all civil servants will be given such an opportunity to serve the country. πŸ˜‚

            Let me continue, ksi.

....and he may not get back his deposit.

I hope he get back his deposit.
Although he might not seems to be suitable as a president , he did help ppl during the Lehman bro crisis.[/quote]I think that is the likely scenario too

however, with a paycheck of $4.3m a year, hopefully the successful candidate will mail out anonymously a one-off cheque of $48k to any of the other candidates who did not meet the 12.5% criteria. πŸ™ πŸ™

else :moneyflies: :moneyflies: despite full of sincere efforts.

Finally voted. Only one entry and one exit point at my polling station. The exit point leads out into the open area and it is raining! The police did not even allow me to walk under the shelter back to the entrance. Now I am all wet!

President S R Nathan said on Friday he is looking forward to the next phase of his life, \"which will hopefully (have) less pressure\".

                It cracks me up.

It's been tough on u, Mr President
u deserve a good rest after 12 long years.
u can now stop murmuring \"Yes, Mr Lee\" in ur sleep.

Thank you for the video. Everything about Vincent is nice, his smile, he is humourous asking Irene back what she likes to eat, he likes. Yes, very sincere not like PAP’s style of pretentious. Really no one in PAP is formidable.

If TJS wins, I guess he would mail the cheque to TKL.
