Thanks
No, Im staying close to Great World city now. Bus comes at near 6am. My dd wakes up at 5.30am. Brushes teeth and clean up, breakfast is always a bun frm breadtalk. She will eat her bun while her hair is being tied. Helper goes down with bag n waits for bus while she continue a few more winks in the living room. When bus is close she will go down and continue her sleep in the bus. The bus reaches school at around 6.40.
Morning school is good but the waking up can be quite a challenge for my girl cos she sleeps 5 half hours. What time is ur bus expected to arrive at ur place in the morning?
Yup, waking up is the challenge.
I intend to pack my girl off to sleep at 8pm next year.....Don't know if it's do-able, think if without afternoon nap by 8pm she should be quite \"knocked-out\"
Just that I won't have time to go through her work if she sleeps at 8pm. really need her to be more auto-pilot next year onwards.... -

======
both P1 and P2 will remain in the afternoon PM session, with P3 to P6 in the morning AM session - when our school relocates to the Temporary holding site (former RJC) at Mount Sinai.
in 2016, then will go single session. -
Teacher’s day next Thursday … curious, what kind of presents do you normally give to Teacher, to show your appreciation ?
the gift DIY (the child do it herself),or just buy off the shelf ? -
every year the P send a notice reminding all parents not to give any present to the teachers… the best gift is to work hard and show good result to the teachers…

sounds practical & logical !

When my girl was in p1, some parent came up with the idea of making n designing a big card so all the kids had their hands at it. Some made cookies for the teachers, others would go to the sch bookshop n buy a red pen, bookmarks, stationery etc...Teacher's day next Thursday ... curious, what kind of presents do you normally give to Teacher, to show your appreciation ?

Mine used to buy teachers day mugs or any stuff with the words Happy teachers day.
I normally make sure the gift does not exceed 10 dollars cos i understand that if its too costly it will be returned. I think a self made card would be most appreciated.
