        I think the yi li could be a direct translation from dialect.

              一粒萍果/橙 and not 一个.
              Such forms of measurement should be taught correctly from P1.

              一个 can be used for 人,书包,字.

                Guess probably P1 they have been corrected and used 一个人 /萍果 😄

                  一粒 is used for very tiny size items like 米, 豆, etc..

                    so the final conclusion is yi ge for fruits... and yi li for smaller items... :boogie:

                      一只狗
                      一支笔

                      wont be suprised to see 一只笔... ya know... :evil:
