            Hi Champion,

For CA/SA revision, I usually get my son to practice on past year school exams...more 'real' and if don't practice on them, they will be wasted

I am more careful and selective for lower primary assessment now...esp with no CA/SA, formats for assessment are set by school and they are not standardized. But the 'standard' sections like 辨字测验, 词语选择, 短文填空 are the norm. Bought in 'Score in Chinese', as well as 'Weekly Chinese' by Chen Yan/Li Yan for my son....now switched to Victoria Publishing

                my dear poppy,
all schools set their own formats now for chinese...i have 4 assessment books and yet there is not a single book which can be depended upon.
however, you may want to consider these titles:
*P1A/B Intensive Exercises. By Victoria Publication. https://www.popular.com.sg/jsp/product/product_detail.jsp?vca001=247&vpd001=69022
*Primary 1A/B Super Scholar Hua Wen Guan Jun Wang

*Primary 1A/1B Revision Exercises For Primary One Chinese [Paperback] by Jiang Xiao Hong (By SAP)

Other than the 3rd title by Jiang Xiao Hong, the other 2 is avail in HCL.
First 2 terms will be focused on hanyu pinyin. Have a title but can't upload pic now. Maybe tomorrow.

                      Hi SAHM_Tan,

You may want to check out this title by Wu Li Jun https://www.popular.com.sg/jsp/product/product_detail.jsp?vca001=247&vpd001=69203
                      http://i54.tinypic.com/dfvout.jpg\">
This title by Wu Li Jun is challenging...the other author by Jiang Xiao Hong is a little easier although HCL too.

Then for hanyu pinyin...I used this.
'Primary 1 Chinese Hanyu Pinyin (Higher Chinese/Chinese)' published by Victoria. https://www.popular.com.sg/jsp/product/product_detail.jsp?vca001=247&vpd001=80521
