Congrats to Spikey and all parents who got your daughters in MGPS! Just curious, does anyone know the price range for Sherwood or Mayfair? Is MGPS really strict with registration. Heard someone told me they would check your bills etc during registration. Correct me if I'm wrong. My DD gg to P1 in 2014. Am really anxious! We are staying more than 2km! Hubby told me I can just dream on.. >8/

I read that MGPS is more difficult to get in now. But saw the data is saying ballot for >2km. So does it mean if I move to 1km away from the school, I would be able to get my daughter in?

But when I went to the MOE website, it shows balloting for less than 1 km. Zzz.

MGS usually has balloting within 1 km for phase 2B and 2C.

oh my, that means I have to be a member of any methodist church + get a recommendationg letter + move to 1km of the school…

Yes, you are right!
by doing all these, it merely increase your chance to enter MGS. However again, no guarantee. The moment demand exceeds supply - just by >= 1 seat, balloting start! -
