I have a question - my ds was given a WL from his first choice, and was given a CO from another. Should he give up the CO to other now? But worry that the WL does not materialised.


If both are CO, it will be an easy decision.

You should go ahead and put the WL as his first choice and the CO as his second choice. If he doesn't get his first choice WL, he will be posted to his 2nd choice CO.

Based on my experience in year 2009, HCI gave out WL1 and WL2. At the end, all WL1 and WL2 got into HCI. A fair percentage of CO went over to another mountain. So your WL is as good as CO. :imcool:

Hi, tisha, sorry to hear that you have not received any letter from NJC yet.
According to MOE, all applicants will receive a note by 2 Sept. See pt 17 of FAQ.

if I were you, I would call NJC and quote the instructions by MOE and see whether they can give you a verbal reply or email today so you won't be too anxious over the weekend.

This is the first time I make posting on KSP. I have been following this thread for sometime to receive good advices.

Just receive letter from DHS, my DS is on WL. Dont know the actual chance, so advice him to work hard on PSLE. :nailbite:

if keep the CO as second choice and unluckily your ds is not accepted by HCI (low chance), he will be posted to that school.. can use psle result to appeal to HCI but not sure if there is any change in 'appeal policy' this year.. :roll: and it will definitely require a higher t-score and may need to attend interview.

My postman will only come around 5+.
Is your area having 2 deliveries per day ?[/quote]Not sure. 2 days back was going out and happened to see the post man at abt 4:45pm. Today out of curiosity went down abt 11:45 or so. Again saw the post man. So maybe delivery twice a day or maybe somedays morning some days evening. Dunno leh
