Like that arh... then plant seed in a small pot and give pot to teacher with message: \"I am but a seed. Your patience and care in nourishing me with your teachings help me grow into someone that will bring joy and sunshine to others. Happy Teachers Day! PS. Don't forget to water me everyday!\".

Happy Teachers' Day to Ms Beng (P1), Mrs Mah (P2), Ms Wan (P3), Mr Chua Sian Kay (P4), Mrs Lim (P5), Mrs Chia (P6), Ms Chua (S1), Mr Freddie Liew (S2), Mrs Lim (S3), Mrs Chandran(S4)-most of them would have retired by now but I am eternally grateful to them because they were the ones who groomed/educated/guided me in my formative years (other than my parents/siblings) and I had spent 10 very happy and wonderful years under their tutelage.

          :thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou:

Gift shop auntie told me that teachers like pens (red pens) and markers. Was a bit puzzled becos I thought these should be provided by school.

Anyway, Plan A for DS to draw cards failed, so plan B was put in motion - markers and pens! Even if they dun like, at least it’s something they can use.

                LKVM:
In my DS's class teacher didnt like if someone give her red pen 🤷

har? she buy shares so pantang? then what colour does she use to mark?

As parent, I would want to show my appreciation to teacher. It's really quite tough wracking my brains what to get. i'm so veering on 'diam diam' and not do anything next time.

The teachers I mentioned played a very important role in my life so I am eternally grateful to them for showing me the joy of learning.

My son’s last year’s teacher thanked him so graciously and returned the favour with a small gift of her own to him that he was thrilled to bits! He went shopping on his own and bought a $2 air freshener. She is such a wonderful lady that even I am in love with her!!

when my son was in primary school, they would always buy 6 blue and 6 red whiteboard markers for their form teacher for 3 consecutive years bec the school did not provide enough for the teachers. i guess once they hit P4-P6, there are more explanation to do on the whitenboard
