        SAHM_TAN:

I think different pple will adjust differently. It's rather different, I mean for me, my companions are my kids most of the time. There are times I crave for adult conversation and company. Finances wise, I've worked out with DH, so there's no cause of argument in that area. At the same time DH knows it's tiring to take care of 3 kids, so he will let me take a breather when he is back.

The most important thing, your DH must support your decision. There's also a need to look into long term finances, it's not just about cutting down on enrichment lessons.
sounds like what I would say too SAHM tan. :hi5:

ya, not just about enrichment. we shift the money around. 🙂 If this enrichment is very impt, then save somewhere else for it.

my DH is not a high flier, so i know it is possible to be a SAHM. just whether you enjoy it and whether DH is supportive. if you love to be one, and Dh is supportive, then all other things can be worked out, i think.

for us, we make sacrifices here and there. and in future, if we wanna upgrade, for eg, then i'll return to work. but by then, my kids will be older already. so it is ok.

Yup my first two DD so I tell myself must have one DS (cos my sis also give birth to two DD so my bro in law commented that my mum DD all give birth to DD) and I will so I approach my Tang jie DH to help.

                        Then…

Im preg and is a boy! So happy but I didnt take good care of myself. My 28 weeks I had a bad fall from escalator (someone rushing to get down, I totally forgotten I’m preg and I move my body to aside) the person didn’t realize I guess coz he rushing his way out. The escalator is mean for 1 or 2 skinny ppl. I sprained my ankle and the blood just gushing up my brain, I know I’m fainting soon. I know my DH can’t carry me and at that point of time coz the place is quite quiet at that hours. So I kept telling myself I cannot faint coz DH cannot carry me and I don’t want him to worry. I tried to stand still and managed to gain conscious… slowly walk back.

Next day when I’m back to sg, I went to see my gynae. He given me an injection (if not wrong is to open up bb lungs) and ask me not to move for 2week. Bb I dangerous to come out so early cos their lungs is not fully develop yet so there will be complication etc. I’m worried and upset about it and lying on the bed everyday (forcing myself to eat and sleep) really horrible.

                        1 week later…

I start to get down and walk a little… I feel the pain in my womb and is bad. My DH call my gynae to inform him, my gynae straightaway asked him to bring me to hospital. I gave birth to a pre term baby, he is so small 2.1kg and have to send to ICU (I didn’t know). I only see him once (when I delivered) and I’m so excited to see him again, to cuddle him and to bf him. But the nurse ask me to rest more and see baby next day.

ICU ward… My DS is full of tubing and need to put in oxygen box. (His size shrink to 1.8+kg and the don’t need to drink milk coz got drip.) I’m upset and moody, I can’t accept this is my DS. My womb is giving me problems, I need to take 2 types of strong medi to stop the pain. I work hard to pump my milk since day 2, hoping that he can’t stop the drip soon and take in my BM. I’m really tired… 3 days never close my eyes to rest but to walk in and out ICU to visit him.
