wow, so many comments after you guys/gals got home :salute:
I could not get up on time this morning. My kids will hv a super simple lunch/dinner tmr (since I did not go mkt).
My P4 boy thoroughly enjoyed himself. Many thanks to all the children/parents for making his day. He kept asking when is the next gathering
Next time, I shld skip my dinner at home so that I can eat more
If meeting next year, can also hear my feedback on P5 stds (hopefully not too high from this year P5 std
).
Lastly, BIG BIG THANK YOU to all who made this gathering happened, the wonderful food and most imptly, the WONDERFUL companionship. -

Yes, it's very impressive :rahrah:
After dinner, I suddenly remembered the parents would be holding a BBQ at the badminton court and told hubby. He suggested to drop by.
It was a wise choice...the parents are friendly and atmosphere was just great...lots of laughter, humour and kids were enjoying themselves. -

When there's RGS/RI inducing magical elixir to be shared, you can be sure that broken ankles ain't gonna stop me from attending.
Yesterday I learnt that Toh Yi estated used to be a kampong village, hence I felt the kampong spirit (I mean the right kind :yikes: ). From yesterday BBQ, I also know that most if not all of us grew up in this little island, so it's definitely so much easier to click as there're so much common roots that we share. :imcool:Funx3:
Just imagine next time you go BT wet market or BT Plaza, then you meet some of last night's parents and start to share tips. And We Have a Whooping Time Yakking the Whole Nite Too ....

Less people captured in the photos is ok. As long as it's not more 'people' captured.Looking at our class monitor's list, I think I might have missed out some people, so gotta wait for cherrie's DH's photos ler..

Yalor, Trapwithin kor-kor was wondering whether you'll turn up.Looks like I just missed out all the FUN!

It's safer not to upload any pics here  ...since staff of the school follow the threads...as long as we parents know one another.
I realized most of the parents from last night's gathering are either old boys/girls or else got into PH under the balloting. All the more, I think Phase 2A2 should remain for future generations. -

Yes, there were many humorous, even hilarious moments. Like when Mum4ever introduced herself as 'Mum4ever', I was like ..... huh, you want to be my mum forever? Hahaha ..... followed by awkward silence.

And when Joyfulhands extended her handshake and introduced herself as 'Joyfulhands', I didn't know whether she's referring to her hand or herself.
Then Scary said 'Hi, I'm Scary.' I should have replied, 'Hi, and I'm Frightened.'
But at least I know what 'ruaqt2' means now. And I never knew that JoeeYee is so humorous.
Jen,
Yesterday the little boys were sticking to your ds wherever he went. He was like their Lao Da. -
Hi Mark,
The regulars on this thread are full of humour and the type who share...from jokes to tips on education...no holding back, really amazing :salute:
I've known Scary for a while and I didn't even know she called herself 'Scary' here...really scary :rotflmao: -

Paiseh paiseh...
I reached home at 9.50pm and suddenly remembered about the ongoing BBQ... but looking at the time, it was almost ending, so no point going even though the drive there is just a few minutes...
Trapwithin kor kor, next time ok?
Actually somehow I've got this strange feeling that Trap kor kor knows my DH or we've met before when fetching our kids...
