I remembered when I was in P1 or P2, my primary school tuckshop over-looked to a HDB block (those with ground floor empty). One day, I looked out of the window and saw 2 red something lying on the grass patch at the bottom of the block. Later on, I heard that there has been a suicide, a woman wore all red jumped and also dressed her child in red.

So sad! My primary school has been demolished and that block of flat also knocked down and the whole area redeveloped and re-built into new HDB flats. But each time I pass by I will remember this....

actually i think the owner of this errie house puts the statue there, is for the purpose of guarding the house - to prevent evil spirits from entering main door. Acts like a security guard or Goddes / Heavenly King (Guang Gong) from next world ... acting as a guard at the front door, baring naughty wandering spirit from entering.

furthermore, if put a statue there very tall guarding front entrance, it's frightening. Imagine you wake up at night want to pee ... Then as you look out to the front door without switching on any light, this tall statue resembles 'someone' or tall ghost looking at you ... yee, scary!

the painted red color wall confirms that ... the color blood red is to ward off evil.

and i find the other wall frightening too ... why use palm shape in red? could have used other shape. but of all shapes, choose palm shape ...

yes, i was aware of the reason for placing a black statue in front of the door entrance.....
i juz kept quiet abt this......(and also told my gal to keep quiet, dun ask too many questions..... :roll: )

I was watching TV with my son yesterday night around 1130pm in the living room. I could see the kitchen from where I sat and I thought I saw (from the corner of my eye) a roundface peering at us in the kitchen and withdrew almost immediately as I turned to see again. I quickly stood up, switched on all the lights in the kitchen and stood there for a while to check any thing 'fishy' but nothing.

the layout of my place is such there is no way neighbour can see into my kitchen and besides, my 3 other neighbours have no ah peks :evil:
