Travel: Taiwan - Taipei

Pls do. I called Meeky Yang last month for my trip in Nov, he’s already almost fully booked for the days I’ll be in Taipei. Left one day so I quickly booked him on his available slot and plan my itinerary accordingly.

Always advance booking the taxi driver as all the popular one is very fast taken up.
九份 is nice I like it but not sure will be cover this time as it got alot of stairs and not suitable for stroller so it will be tired for carry my boys all the way up. We will be going to 十份放天灯 which we had nv try before so the kids will enjoy. This time round we thinking of trying the hot spring in Yang Ming Shan instead of Beitou as we had been to Beitou hotspring a few times. 淡水 is another area which had alot of nice food and must go when you go Taipei.
I heard that Shilin is going to move underground in October, no conclude news yet if is true I will be very sad as Shilin had alot of nice food and nice to shop.
And lady please go WuFenPu to shop, alot of cheap and nice cloth. Telling my hubby die die must squeeze some time there so the guys will take care of the kids and we gals go shopping hahahah.
Oh ya remember to bring your E-ticket and hotel confirmation to Taiwan Tourism to claim your freebie before flying off. -

sunnyling,
The airport transfer I don’t require as my package they have include it. So now need to brainstorm where are the places need to visit during the 3D in Taipei. Ya need to evaluate as kids get tired easily if ask them to visit those mountaineous visit. -
Are you planning to visit National Palace Museum?
tonnes of Chinese treasures on display there. -
No no history place, wait the whole family go & sleep. Any idea where can buy electronic goods like laptop, ipad etc. Are they seem to be cheaper over there especially brand like Acer, Asus?

2. K-Mall
opposite of Taipei Train Station, near Mitzukoshi
3. Kuang Hua Market -
May I know what hotels you guys usually choose on F&E? Not too expensive, yet clean & comfortable round $100/night.
Do these hotels have tour desk where we can book to go Leofoo themepark (just like goldcoast hotels have tour bus going to 3 worlds), half day Wulai, and Northcoast tour?
I know there are several bus companies that have local tours (based on internet), but it is less hassle to do booking at hotel travel desk.
I am comparing above with SA F&E shopping craze which does not have Leofoo themepark & Wulai. -
Any XMD hotel recommendation? I’m thinking of staying in a different hotel for our 2nd leg in Taipei.
