I think both paper and metal casing for the colour pencils are current. Depend which type you prefer
      Hi,

Thanks. ya have to decide to get 24 coloured pencils with metal casing or 36 to 48 colours with paper casing since pricing difference by a dollar plus

SPI is having 15% sales now.

Is year end offer better than current 15% (any parents can recall) discount? Just wondering if it is too early to buy now? Missed the $46 off deal when most of the stock run low so kinda paranoid that year end will face the same issue…haizzz

          Hi kiasu mummy

SA told me that 15% is for the new arrivals. $40 off is for the current stock. I hope I din hear wrongly. You might want to call and confirm with them.

Just bot a pink S size SPI active bag for my gal to prepare her for P1 next yr. Original was $129 but after $40 disc, I am paying $89. Think I am a bit KS but dun wish to do the last min shopping during yr end just in case they dun have the size & color gal want. Btw, Hb & I like the red one but gal only wants the pink! Will hv to wash her bag more regularly. 😉

              maltbibi,

I am just like you, don’t like last min shopping and most importantly, don’t wanna miss the size and colour we like (just like we did in the last offer during the national day - $46 off)

No time to swing down this week and hopefully offer still on next week.

I heard correction tapes are not allowed for PSLE so is it better to get our children to use pencils instead of pens so they can erase their mistakes easily?

                  Hi kiasu mummy

Do you have design in mind that you are keen to buy? Maybe can call them and reserve first before they are being snapped up.

Actually in an exam condition, I don't think kids should spend time erasing their mistakes. Can't remember my psle experience from long ago, but in jc/uni, we'll just scratch out and write in the corrected answers in any space available. Completing the paper and ensuring time to check is more impt than presenting a beautiful work. Recall my sec school friend's essay look like amulet writing....and it's reams and reams of it. (pity the marker).

using whitener I feel will waste time becos have to wait for it to dry and all. using the roll on type is dangerous becos if not applied correctly, it could 'tear' off easily.

If one is worried about erasing, can frixion pen be used? It's fairly easy to erase and it's a pen. hee hee.

If anyone is travelling to HK this week, try checking out the SPI bags at Sogo.

Bought the L size Smart-Lite at discounted price at HKD550 (approximately S$82.50).
