Soli soli, the reason is that you were always laughing when I asked you whether the swimming is for DSA. Think I better check with Mum4ever, keke.

oic.... no, no, no, swimming is not for DSA, but if DSA comes to her because of swimming, so be it :siam: .... like I seriously told you, swimming is for O.Gold.... :rotflmao:

          Hi Parents,

It's always nice to have more friends right ? Furthermore our kids are in same school...and I need Funz to give me tips on how to survive PSLE  and aim for the sky like her intelligent daughter.

I just introduced my friend to this thread...our sons are classmates. Hope she registers herself here soon. She will enjoy future gatherings...there will be more coming up right ?

Just wondering, is distance no longer a consideration when choosing Sec sch? Since most here stayed near PH, isn't RI a bit far for your kids?

Where can I find listing of Sec schools by area?

I think RI is not that far compared to some good schools in the east for those staying near PH. Bus service 52 in front of PH goes all the way to Bishan, though I think need to change near MacRitchie for RI. It's pretty fast as it uses PIE. My DH stayed in Bukit Batok previously went to a school in the east. I always told him he was silly to choose a school so far.

But why not go for the good school in the west? Aren't HC, ACSI, NUSH, NJC, SJI nearer to us and all are good school right?

Like your dh, my sec and tertiary school is far from home and I really dragged it then. Thus vow not to let my sons go through the same.
Come to NJC :rahrah:

Are we the first in any sch to organise such a gathering whereby the current parents meet up with next yr new parents for chit-chat.

                  :celebrate:

DS thoroughly enjoyed himself running about with his best friend and I certainly enjoy meeting up with so many warm parents tonight.

Just thought I'll take the attendance so that *ahem*, those that couldn't make it will know what they have missed. Keke.

                      πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Sigh. . .not much diff. It's tough to get 260 and above. I didn't even get this score. How to expect this from my DS? I was quite a self-disciplined girl last time but couldn't get this result. My boy no self-disciplined at all + careless + lazy to check. May not even get 250 next time. Let's see his tests results in P1.
