      Linlin:
My youngest love to play drum.. He can be a drummer the rest love to sing song.

Sounds noisy. haha. I think there are several instruments banned in our house. hHA. One of them is definitely the drums. I also said I don't want the guzheng, nor yangqin, no double bass, no harp. Hopefully no cello but I'm not exactly too against it. haha. So far, our house is already quite invaded with instruments - thankfully all that can be handcarried, other than the piano.

Haha. For us, we have the piano and 5 violins, all of different sizes...
3 belong my hb who used to learn (really vintage cos >15-20 years old) and the other 2 belong to my no 2 and 3 who are learning violin now....

Then we have 5 violins (1 mine, 1 ds1's, 3 ds3's), 3 erhus, 1 jinghu, 1 viola, 1 dizi, 1 piano. Currently, the 2 violins, 1 erhu, 1 jinghu, and 1 viola are already competing for space in the living room corner!

I don’t want to think about the no. of instruments in my house too! It makes the house too cluttered and the all the 3 guys (Dh included) like to place them wherever they last used them. ugh.

Hi mother of 3 and 4 kids

Do u all have some sort of help at home , be it maid or parent or parent in laws? Do u think a sahm can handle four young kids without live in help? Me contemplating to go maid less after having maid for 8 Yrs? Can’t wait to have my own privacy after so many Yrs…I know in our parents time, they were able to do so with neighbors help, with life being simpler…

I have the same maid for past 10years already but have no problem going without. No problem when she goes back for home leave other than having to pickup after MIL. My kids not so young, I'm afraid, except for the youngest. The only reason we have the maid is to clean up after MIL! *sigh*. I am looking forward to the day that the house will finally be mine once again - after 14years! (had maid from no.2 and then by no.3 had ILs move in bc of sickness). But I'm afraid that day looks nowhere near.

With maid no privacy but add burdens. I need to take good care of her and tolerate her nonsense

                      🤷
