Yup, I will not give them sugar loaded stuff when it's near their bedtime.

When my DH tells them to sleep, they are more prompt in sleeping.

Sometimes, I just let them be, after awhile, they will sleep. They will talk, talk, roll, roll and then suddenly quiet. It's like they talk themsleves to sleep :rotflmao:

I like bedtime story, becos it's like a nice way to end a day.

Wow.. we have so many talents here..

Just curious, at what age do you start to send them for training..

I have always wanted at least one of my kid to learn piano.. I love it..

          Hi Constancet,phankao

My DH loves music …so DS1 and DD1 learn the piano. Asked DS2 what instrument he liked to play.He said he wanted to play the drums, so we didn’t start him on any instrument… He also tried cello and he sat down for 2minutes and ran away. DD2 at 3yrs old likes the piano and will sit down at DH’s lap when he plays.

Anyway, I cannot handle the logistics of any more lessons as will probably need to travel to teacher’s house. Driving around everyday like a taxi driver already.

I'm quite ok bc most of my kids quite \"old\". Dd1 will mostly get around by herself altho' she will occasionally ask to be chauffeured. Ds1 will come home by himself if my schedule doesn't allow me to pick him, and often he ends after 5+pm from school so I'd just have dh pick him on the way back from office instead to save me some time. Dd1 also goes for her tuition class after school and ds1 can go for his own violin or theory lessons on his own. So it's mostly ds2 & ds3 that I send around.

Most of the older ones learnt musical instruments only at 7 or 8 years old. The youngest started piano formally before 3 and soon violin just after 3. Bc he copy big brothers and sisters, mah.

DS1 and DD2 start piano at 4. DD2 picked up violin at 4.5 years old. DS3 started violin at 3.5.
