So in this case does it mean the GEP promotion is base on CA1(20%) +SA1(30%)+Prelim(50%) at P6? Kindly advise this blur mummy here... TIA.

For this yr, the SS ct1 is on 4 April which is a mth later then the ct1 of other subjects. It does not have SA1. Marks for 2 portfolio projects and a group projects are accountable for also.
Only geppers have SS prelimary exam which is again same across all gep centers. This yr the SS prelimary exam is on 16/8.

Is it just the NJC parents who are waiting for their letters or are there other schools who haven’t sent out their DSA letters yet? It’s quite late already.

I was at a coffee place this afternoon and couldn't help but overheard a group of mummies talking about dsa 2 tables away. My ears perked up when one mentioned that based on last year's experience there were some 'conversion' letters (WL to CO) issued in mid Sept. No school names were mentioned. Has anyone heard of this ?

That could be ACSI. During the briefing, the P & VP asked parents to revert by 2 Sep if their DS are for sure not taking up the offer in ACSI so they can inform those on WL.

Thanks Vlim. Wow, two days before PSLE oral leh, every year liddat ? I hope next year they could have it at least 1 week earlier/later then PSLE oral. But DSA overall % excludes SS, right? But fren told me HCI online application requires entering SS score, How about RI and the others?

RI didn't ask for SS marks.
In theory if you don't get 70 overall for ss, may not get promoted to secondary GE.
So if a kid manage to get DSA thru GE but then didn't get 70 overall for ss, will the kid lose the DSA place ?

I thought only need a pass to be promoted to Sec GE? the 70% based is just to determine whether the student needs help & also whether he/she can continue with HMT if he/she couldn't hit the 70% baseline? :scratchhead:
