On the check-in day, you will be given a laundry slip with a code number (already assigned to your room & bed). Write this code number on your clothing with a good pen (so that the ink can tolerate washings n not fade after wash, then the clothing can still be identified to be yours and return to you at the end).
My boy wrote his on the clothing label.
Enjoy the experience. -
Would like to enquire abt the ffg.
1. At the end of JH1, only math, LA and MT are banded. Is it right ?.
2. Is the end of year banding(JH1) for math is final or do they band next year also?.
3. What is the percentage of marks for term1,2,3 and 4 be used for calculation ?.
TIA. -

2. Students will be sorted into the different classes according to their maths results at the end of the year.
3. There is no percentage; There are different modules and credits for each subject. It's actually quite complicated, even I'm not sure how to explain. But ALL the graded work done will be calculated into the GPA.
I'm JH1 this year... this is what I know.
Hope it was of some help.

Thanks for the reply Dangerous Bunny.
#2 - Is sorting done at the end of every year ?. -
Dangerous Bunny:
It's only \"banded\" for the subjects. They don't change classes.

Jennifer:
I did not notice. My child told me that it should be white. But some children are wearing ankle socks. So I thought of asking this question.

I do not wash the sports shoes like the primary school shoes. So it is difficult to wash the white socks. -

oic. I hardly look at the types of socks students are wearing. These days, it is difficult to find socks that can be pulled up long long (unlike my sch days). I could only find the long socks at the older apparel shops. The white ones my elder boy is wearing I bou online from Japan at end of 2009. Better quality (still very elastic) and stain resistant.

We also hardly wash the sports shoes, only put in the charcoal bag to remove the smell or take out the in-soles for washing.
