Hi Tinkerbelle,

Today should be the 3rd set lah!

Not yet 'start work' as she is enjoying the comics of \"Survival in a Desert\"!

Another way to acquire knowlege of \"gain heat\" and \"lose heat\"!

Hi Brenda,
Oops....Sorry, got confused....thought 3rd set was yesterday.

Oh...those Korean Science comics are good. Your DD gets to read & learn more about science concepts....one stone kills 2 birds.... šŸ˜‚

Hi Tinkerbelle,

No problem lah! :hugs:

Yes, these Korean Science comics are good but the price is expensive!

We bought a few and aims to buy more while Popular has 20% discount!

NLB has a lot in CL version (survival, hunting for treasures etc) but diffcult to find the EL version unless you reserve for it!
Hi Brenda,
True...these Science comic books are not cheap. DD is lucky....she has a classmate who also likes to read this series so they buy and exchange titles.

Yes, it's nearly impossible to get your hands on these comics in the library and the CL version is too 'cheem' for DD...haha

Hi Brenda,

Your dd must be very good in mcq.DS cannot multi task .
Maybe the only subject he can multi task is English and Chinese.Other than that, he has to focus, or will be super careless.

Cheers,
Leanne

Leanne

Hi Leanne

I did not time her for Science lah!

Hi Brenda,

I like the korean sci series too.Did you buy the whole set?Are they good?

Your dd is moving very fast for prelim paper. We are still quite slow.Just heard ds said that next week her math teacher will let them have all the GEP centres's math paper. So, there goes another round of papers to go.Never ending.

Cheers,
Leanne

Hi Leanne,
It's good that your DS's sch is exposing them to GEP's maths paper...It will definitely come in handy for challenging questions in PSLE.
Does the sch only give BICEP students the GEP maths papers or to all students in the sch?

Hi Leanne

So far I only bought about 5 to 7 EL and 3CL (space ship) and manage to borrow some from NLB but mostly are in CL version.

I would think is good as its come with definition on some specific 'term' which I think can help them in Science as well as Geography subject!

Your DS school is so good and we have to depend on ourselves lah!

Hi All,

Jeremy has been postponing the delivery of the papers!
Does anyone know where else I can get them?

Thanks in advance!
Have you already placed an order with Jeremy? If so first call him to cancel your order, otherwise you might be compelled to buy from him even if he delivers late. At the same time you can ask him for the nearest vendor.
It is also available at Clementi Book Shop, Thompson plaza and Sun Plaza as far as I know.

Hi Belle,

I think the teacher is giving to ds class and maybe some other class that she is teaching.

Infact, during last term, they did most sa1 2011 math paper that are from the gep centre. That is why for this set of prelim paper, CH paper is already done.same goes for science.

To clarify, DS said that gep centre, means the prelim papers from the school that has gep .Its not their gep papers.I believe all gep should sit the same prelim as mainstream children.

Cheers,
Leanne

Thanks for sharing.

Teacher is good, the rest also depends on the children themselve. Now, its so close to psle, cannot drill that much too.Just have to pace up for the BIG DAY.

Hi Leanne,
Your DS's sch is very efficient and has very dedicated teahers.....Looks like his sch has covered most of the past year papers. :boogie:

Your DS is indeed lucky to be in a conducive learning environment with such supportive teachers. šŸ˜‚

Hi has any of you finish the Red Swastika science paper ?
Quite a lot of errors in the answer key right ?

Thanks Brenda and ngbrdad for your sharing. I did expect that there will be errors in the answer key as the process of paper collection and printing was done in such a hurry. Not like the end of the year time. While it is easier to verfiy the maths answers, science is always tricky.
Fortunately we have KSP for doing our verification. šŸ˜„

You're welcome!

True, all thse have to depend on the children themselves! Importantly is they have sufficient rest and not get burn out before the actual big day!
