I agree. The cover doesn't come off easily but with little fingers, you never know. Safer to get an all-protective one so that even if they drop it there's some protection. Of course those won't be as sleek.

      Yes, practicality comes first. šŸ˜‰

Cant find the thread 'ipad', so gotta start a new thread. šŸ˜ž

Assuming 32GB with and without 3G. How much would you pay? One is with warranty, the other without. Assuming both in excellent condition.

apple online store is selling refurished ipad 32GB wifi + 3G at S$679, non-3G is estimated to be about S$100 less.

Use these prices as guide. You should not be paying more than these, else might as well get from apple.

There's always an inherent risk associated with 2nd hand products. And it is especially critical for Apple products as the components like batteries cannot be easily replaced. This could be a major consideration, as batteries deteriorate the moment they leave the factory.

Unless the saving greatly justified the risk, it may not be worth to get a 2nd hand set..

So.. how much are you planning to sell?

To fund the upgrade to ipad2? šŸ˜‰
