      Hi,

Anybody know which part of Malaysia is best to travel during Nov or Dec? We have 1 children and prefer cold weather ( not cameron & Genting ). Any place for kids to enjoy themselves and shopping for adults?

Please advise the beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Malaysia.

Air con + mega sales mah
        :moneyflies:

But seriously, how abt Bukit Tinggi?
Just off KL but much lower than Camerons & Genting if u r worried abt windy mountain rds. Kids will love the \"castle\" accommodation & rabbit farm. Cheap & good seafood at the base.

          Hi Vevey,
How is the weather? Is it cooling?
Any good hotels to recommend there? Is it relaxing?

            Hi Vevey,

Weather is cooling but a light jacket is gd enough if it happens to b cold & at night. Most of the time, we moved ard w/o 1.
Quite enjoyable to R&R for a night or 2.

Limited choices of hotel, think only Colmar Tropicale that we stayed twice & a service apt blk. Colmar is quite old w poster bed but the kids really love to live in the castle w moat, drawbridge etc lor. šŸ˜‰ Try to ask for higher floor rooms as basement rooms can b quite noisy at night w nearby storage room & carpark. Look out 4 its early bird discounts.

Limited & quite expensive food choices at Colmar but there was quite a good & affordable jap restaurant at the Jap Gardens during our 1st visit yrs ago. Nice ambience & view. Too bad didn't managed to go there last yr as I was down w fever. :stupid:

Lucky we tabao Ipoh's famous salted chicken & a loaf of bread as picnic dinner & feed the rest of bread to the swans. šŸ•ŗ

We did it as day trip from KL for a few times too, mainly to visit the rabbit farm. Will need to pay entrance fee to Colmar if go in as day guests. Hotel will refund the fee for staying guests.

                      Hi Vevey,
I have 3 people going. Which room type is more suitable?

B.t.w. have you heard of Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh?
                      Any recommend?

Vevey, but I checked out the resort at Tripadvisor and the reviews were all very bad leh! Also the 8-hr coach journey is a killer...
